THE HOME BUYING PROCESS

The home buying process can, at times, be confusing at best. From establishing a comfortable price range… to searching for the perfect house… to negotiating a competitive offer… to the close of escrow…your agent is committed to making your home buying experience as simple and convenient as possible. He/she will take you step-by-step, answering any question you may have along the way, in terms you understand.

It is important to have a jump-start on the competition to minimize confusion and maximize desired results – getting the home of your choice. You may want to consider the following:

GET PRE-APPROVED FOR YOUR LOAN
Getting pre-approved is a tremendous asset when it comes to negotiating an offer. This not only establishes the price ranges you qualify for, but sellers view a conditional pre-approval as money in the bank, and may accept one offer over another due to this one factor alone. In addition, you may be surprised! You may qualify for much more home than you originally thought.

SHOW FUNDS FOR CLOSING
Acceptance of an offer can be determined by giving evidence of the ability to complete the transaction. This can be accomplished by showing funds in a bank account or providing escrow instructions with a net sheet. You also want to show job stability.

SUBMIT A COMPETITIVE OFFER
You greatly enhance you chance of getting the home of your choice by submitting a strong competitive offer. Submit the offer as if there will be multiple offers, and with as few contingencies as possible.

PROVIDE COMPARABLE PRICING
To substantiate the offer you are making on the property, your agent will provide a competitive market analysis to you and your seller
